Pink fused alumina is created through the fusion of Bayer-alumina and Chromium oxide additives in an electric arc furnace exceeding 2100 degrees Celsius. The presence of Chromium oxide imparts a slightly higher toughness compared to White fused alumina. We offer three distinct types based on Chromium content: Light pink, Pink, and Ruby. As the Chromium oxide content increases, the color deepens, and the grains become progressively tougher.
